great coffee!!

I have tried almost every k cup available, but I have 2 favorites. This is one of them. I like this coffee in the afternoon because it is strong, but it doesn’t have that “burnt” starbucks taste. It is a little too strong for me in the morning
on an empty stomach, but in the afternoon it is just wonderful.

Tastes like coffee smells!

I’ve had my Keurig for about 18 months, and I’ve tried half-a-dozen different “extra bold” blends. This is one I keep coming back to. The aroma is perfect and the flavor matches it. I drink my coffee black, and I like it strong. This “extra bold” produces a strong cup of coffee on the Keurig large mug setting. Highly recommended!

It might be better than Coffee People

After reading the many positive reviews for Timothy’s Midnight Magic, Extra Bold, I decided to give it a try, even though I had been very satisfied with the dark roast Coffee People pods. I’m here to say that Midnight Magic has become my favorite. Unfortunately, these two brands are the only two that I can positively endorse, which is too bad. I prefer a full-bodied coffee, but just never find it with the others.

This coffee has the best ‘coffee’ flavor of all the k-cups. The quality is amazing and this is the only flavor I buy now. I added this to a ‘Subscribe and Save’ to save even more since I don’t need anything else.

I normally drink Dark or Bold roasts in the coffee shops. This is the only K-cup flavor that hits the mark.

Conflicted about how to rate this!! Read before ordering!

Here is my dual rating based on 2 different shipments:

5 Stars – 1st shipment – The best, strongest, most delicious coffee! My go-to coffee when I want extra bold with a great flavor. Full-bodied and robust, it is strong enough to brew on the largest setting, and then tweak another brew on the smallest setting. Absolutely love it!
(These k-cups had solid dark blue tops. This, apparently, is important. Read on.)

1 Star – 2nd shipment – NOT THE SAME COFFEE AT ALL!! When I brew it on the largest setting, it is NOWHERE NEAR as strong as the last shipment. It is totally average, not full-bodied, and the flavor is weak and on the bitter side. Forget about tweaking another brew – I can’t even get 1 large brew with this k-cup! WHAT GIVES??? I am so disappointed because I thought I had found my perfect coffee, but it is not reliable. As much as I adored the first shipment, I am now afraid to ever order it again!
(The k-cups this time had the dark blue tops with a RED border, which is different from the first shipment. They both said Midnight Magic, Extra Bold on them. I don’t know if this detail has anything or everything to do with the strength, but BEWARE!)
