Tiberius Arms paintball rifle a good deal?
So im buying a new paintball rifle for our monthly outing at Skirmish, PA and I came across a Tiberius Arms rifle package on ebay. I have $500 to spend on a gun and I wanted to see if this was a good deal… check it out

Any suggestions on other guns are open for discussion.
Well you’re not really telling us much about what you’re looking for in the marker. You say you go on monthly outings at Skirmish….what have you used before.
I’m going to assume by what you’ve pointed to (the Tiberius) that you’re looking for a woodsball gun.
For 500 bucks you can get a lot more bang for your buck than the Tiberius in my opinion. They’re good markers don’t get me wrong. I just think that if you’re new to paintball and you’re looking for a woodsball marker, I’d go a different route.
I would recommend to you something from Tippmann. Either the 98 Custom or the A5. Both are very durable workhorses. Solid guns. Easy to work on. Lots of people have them and most paintball shops will have parts if something goes wrong for you.
The Tiberius isn’t as widely used so unless you’re sure your local store can hook you up with parts. The Tiberius is based around a pistol. All of the other stuff is attached to this pistol. So for the marker you showed us in the ad, there are A LOT of stuff that gets put onto the pistol itself. The Tiberius pistol is pretty weighty and I can only imagine what everything else would be on top of that. The hopper that they include can be used but you then can’t use the scope. So one of those two things will be overkill for you. The goggles they have are Anti-Fog which you would think would be great….but unless they say THERMAL, then they’re usually not that great. Anti-Fog lenses still fog for whatever reason.
This is just my two sense. But if you’re going to spend that kind of money on a marker I think you can do better. You can get a solid marker for cheaper and still have money to play with.
